Wow my very first post!

Now I understand this is a stupid name, but it has a special meaning for my husband and I. I can honestly say that that statement, ( I see the mailbox) has saved my marriage a few times.

I will introduce myself. My name is Lori, I am turning 41 tomorrow. I realized today that I have never really done anything too exciting. I am truly boring in my day to day life. I am giving myself a year to accomplish a feat. Maybe I'll start a charity, maybe I will donate my blood more often, maybe I'll try to lose the 50lbs., I need too. I will do something special that is a promise to myself.

Also, as if you cannot tell by now, I have no idea how to blog...I will learn as I go
